The President of the Republika Srpska Željka Cvijanović and the Chairman of the Council of Ministers Zoran Tegeltija met today with the leadership of the Municipality of Kozarska Dubica.

The President of the Republic of Srpska stated that, at the meeting with the Mayor of Kozarska Dubica Radenko Reljić, the activities that were carried out in the previous period were summarized with satisfaction, and she pointed out that the municipality is much more stable today than before, thanks to the interventions of the Government of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Srpska, with engagement of the local administration and the Mayor.

The President of the Republic pointed out that the project of building a water supply system towards Knežica is of strategic importance in Kozarska Dubica, and that all ongoing activities will be accelerated in the implementation of that project.

The President of the Republic added that she is satisfied with the fact that there were interventions in Kozarska Dubica in the previous period when it comes to schools, kindergartens and road infrastructure.

“It is fundamentally important to resolve the issue of temporary approval for the operation of the international border crossing in Kozarska Dubica, which is granted for three months. We need to get a permanent consent and in that way that communication will be an unhindered connection with the EU”, it was pointed out by the President Cvijanović.

The President of the Republic highlighted that the Municipality of Kozarska Dubica will have support in the future in all projects related to local and communal infrastructure, as well as rehabilitation of school buildings, upgrading of kindergartens or anything else.

“Republican institutions will stand behind it, as we stand with all other municipalities that endured some difficult times in the previous period. Much better times are surely coming for Kozarska Dubica”, said the President Cvijanović.
