President of the Republic of Srpska meets with the leadership of the municipality of Kneževo
The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović met today in Kneževo with the leadership of the municipality.
The President of the Republic of Srpska stated that the implementation of important projects for this municipality will be continued, and that a model that will no longer burden the municipal budget will be found in connection with the previously taken loan from the Investment and Development Bank of the Republic of Srpska.
The President Cvijanović said that the intention is to strengthen this municipality financially so that it can solve infrastructure and other priorities on its own.
“This will be solved by reaching a different credit arrangement with the intention of removing the amounts of the installment or extending the deadlines in that area, which will make it easier to organise and finance municipal life”, it was pointed out by the President of the Republic.
The President of Srpska stated that the rehabilitation of the large sports hall will be continued and added that BAM 200,000 have already been provided.
The President Cvijanović mentioned that last year funds were allocated from the Budget of the President of the Republic of Srpska for the construction of kindergartens, and added that additional money would be allocated for the exterior of this preschool institution and children playgrounds.
The President of the Republic of Srpska said that the Government of the Republic of Srpska has already approved BAM 300,000 for the local road infrastructure.
“Everything we are doing together with the municipality will contribute to solving the essential problems of the population of Kneževo. I am grateful to these people who work hard and try to lead the municipality, cooperating with the authorities of Srpska and applying for certain projects towards the republican institutions. Thus, through the cooperation of local and national authorities, we are solving the problems in this municipality”, said the President Cvijanović.
The meeting was also attended by the Minister of Physical Planning, Construction and Ecology Srebrenka Golić, Minister of Finance Zora Vidović, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Boris Pašalić and Acting Director of the Investment and Development Bank of the Republic of Srpska Dražen Vrhovac.
