President of the Republic of Srpska meets with the leadership of the City of Doboj

The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović met today in Doboj with the leadership of the City of Doboj.

The President of the Republic of Srpska said that Doboj is a good example of cooperation between the republic and local authorities and that she is pleased with a number of projects and programmes of the city administration intended for citizens.

After the meeting with Mayor Boris Jerinić and local representatives in the institutions of the Republic of Srpska and BiH in Doboj, the President Cvijanović pointed out that these are difficult and challenging times, but that she believes that they can be overcome through the unity of republican and local authorities.

The President of the Republic of Srpska pointed out that her visit to Doboj today was aimed at pointing out that the republic and local authorities should work together because it is for the benefit of the citizens, and to support everything that the City Administration started, as these are serious projects.

“A lot has been done in the field of infrastructure, to preserve the stability of the budget and, therefore, I express gratitude to the efforts of the Mayor and the City Administration for the preservation of that budget. We know that times are hard, and the needs of our residents are high”, said the President Cvijanović.

The President of the Republic pointed out that she was pleased with a series of interventions, projects and programmes of local authorities in Doboj that serve as support, among others, for young people to get to their housing units more easily, as well as budget support through subsidies to socially vulnerable categories.

“At the same time, there is an awareness that in this way we help our economic sector, we help businessmen and investors to preserve their activities, because they also need to pay salaries to someone, for example in housing”, said the President Cvijanović.

The President of the Republic of Srpska stated that great work is being done in Doboj and that the City Administration is determined to continue that way.

The President of the Republic of Srpska said that she supports the efforts of the City Administration in everything it has done during the current epidemiological situation.
