Today, the President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Bosnia and Herzegovina Sadık Babür Girgin.
During the meeting, the President of the Republic of Srpska informed the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey that the formation of authorities in the Republic of Srpska and BiH is a priority task, and that the focus of all competent institutions of the Republic of Srpska in the coming period will be institutional, fiscal and budgetary stability.
On this occasion, the interlocutors expressed their satisfaction with the cooperation of the two countries so far, as well as their commitment to its improvement and development of relations in all areas of mutual interest.
The President Dodik expressed the hope that the construction of the Belgrade-Sarajevo highway will start as soon as possible, and emphasized that it is a large infrastructure project that will give a strong boost to economic development and contribute to the regional connectivity and stability.
At the meeting, other current topics in the Republic of Srpska, BiH and the region were discussed.
Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Banja Luka Oğuz Kiliç also attended the meeting.
