President of the Republic of Srpska meets with the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China in BiH

The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović met today in her office with the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Bosnia and Herzegovina Ji Ping and discussed the further improvement of cooperation in numerous areas and other current topics.

During the meeting, the interlocutors confirmed their commitment to strengthening friendly ties between the Republic of Srpska and China, as well as the implementation of economic, infrastructural and cultural projects of mutual interest.

On this occasion, the President of Srpska pointed out that full respect for the Dayton Peace Agreement and the constitutional position of the entities and constituent peoples in BiH is a prerequisite for a better understanding and efficient functioning of institutions at all levels of government.

The President Cvijanović expressed her gratitude to the Chinese leadership for the balanced and principled attitude towards BiH, which is based on consistent respect for the internal and international legal framework.
