President of the Republic of Srpska meets with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden to BiH

The President of the Republika Srpska Željka Cvijanović met today in her office with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden to BiH Johanna Strömquist and discussed the current political and economic situation in the Republic of Srpska and BiH.

The current epidemiological situation, the process of mass immunization of the population against the Coronavirus, as well as repairing the negative effects of the pandemic on the economy were discussed at the meeting.

On this occasion, the European perspective and the integration process were also discussed, with special reference to the 14 priorities from the Opinion of the European Commission on the application for BiH’s membership in the EU.

During the meeting, it was stated that the cooperation between the institutions of the Republic of Srpska and Sweden is good and commitment to further improvement of relations was expressed.
