President of the Republic of Srpska meets with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway to BiH

The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović met today in her office with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway to BiH Olav Reinertsen.

The current political and economic situation in the Republic of Srpska and BiH, as well as the possibilities of improving cooperation in various fields, were discussed at the meeting.

The interlocutors exchanged views on internal political processes and open issues that burden relations in BiH, as well as the situation in the Western Balkans.

Regarding the current political situation in BiH, the President of the Republic pointed out that consistent respect for international law, the Dayton Peace Agreement and the BiH Constitution is essential for the long-term stability of BiH and the full functionality of joint institutions.

On this occasion, the President Cvijanović emphasized that the institutions of the Republic are committed to preserving peace and stability, which is a condition for economic growth, investment and progress.

The interlocutors assessed that there are many areas in which the Republic of Srpska and the Kingdom of Norway can cooperate, and expressed confidence that, in the coming period, relations will be further deepened and developed.
