President of the Republic of Srpska meets with the Ambassador of Japan to BiH

The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović met today in her office with the Ambassador of Japan to BiH Hideyuki Sakamoto.

At the meeting, they discussed the current political and economic issues in the Republic of Srpska and BiH, as well as the possibilities of expanding the existing cooperation between Srpska and Japan.

On this occasion, the President Cvijanović highlighted that the Republic of Srpska is committed to development and reform processes that are important for improving the economic and business environment, stimulating domestic and foreign investors, and stressed that it is necessary to form credible authorities at the BiH level as soon as possible in accordance with the will of the citizens.

During the meeting, the interlocutors assessed the cooperation between the Republic of Srpska and Japan so far as good, and expressed the expectation that in the coming period it would be improved through the implementation of projects in the fields of mutual interest.
