The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović met today in her office with the Ambassador of Hungary to BiH Krisztián Pósa.
The President Cvijanović and Ambassador Pósa exchanged views on current political and economic issues in the Republic of Srpska and BiH, regional co-operation and the European integration process.
On this occasion, the President Cvijanović stated that the Republic of Srpska is economically and politically stable, that its institutions are functioning with full capacity, notwithstanding the fact that the BiH government formation process has not been fully completed.
In conversation with the Ambassador of Hungary to BiH, the President of the Republic highlighted that the Republic of Srpska attaches particular importance to the development of cooperation with the countries of the region, and expressed commitment to intensify relations with Hungary in all fields of common interest.
During the meeting, the fields with possibilities for strengthening economic cooperation were discussed and it was emphasized that there is room for cooperation in the fields of energy, pharmacy and education.
