President of the Republic of Srpska meets with the Ambassador of Bulgaria to BiH

The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović met today in her office with the Ambassador of Bulgaria to BiH Avgustina Cvetkova Karabaševa.

During the meeting, the interlocutors exchanged views on the current political and economic situation in the Republic of Srpska, BiH and the region, as well as the activities of the Republic of Srpska institutions in the process of the European integration.

On this occasion, the President Cvijanović reiterated commitment to continue the European path and stated that the Republic of Srpska was the first to verify the translated consolidated answers to additional questions from the European Commission Questionnaire.

Also, it was assessed that experiences and observations of Bulgaria on the path to the European Union are very useful for both Srpska and BiH, especially regarding the EU funds.

The interlocutors expressed expectation that the good cooperation between Srpska and Bulgaria to date will be improved on the economic, educational and cultural level, and noted that Bulgaria in Srpska have already been present through various infrastructure assistance projects in many municipalities and cities.
