President of the Republic of Srpska meets with representatives of the Union of Associations for help to mentally disabled persons of the Republic of Srpska (MeNeRaLi)
The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović met today in the Palace of the Republic with the representatives of the Union of Associations for help to mentally disabled persons of the Republic of Srpska (MeNeRaLi).
At the meeting with the representatives of the Union, the initiator of this year’s humanitarian campaign “To Brave Hearts with Love”, mutual satisfaction was expressed because the collected funds will be used for the purchase of vehicles for children with intellectual disabilities.
The President Cvijanović thanked the representatives of the Union for a good and noble idea, and expressed confidence that the campaign “To Brave Hearts with Love” will achieve its goal this year and gather a large number of good and humane people, businessmen and institutions.
Representatives of the Union explained that through the procurement of vehicles for 33 associations within the Union, their youngest members will have easier access to services such as day care, schooling, occupational workshops, sports and cultural activities and greater involvement in community life in places they live.
On this occasion, representatives of the Union presented the President of the Republic with a monograph on the 25th anniversary of the existence and work of the Union, and thanked her for the support and understanding she showed for the youngest members and their families, as well as efforts to provide children with disabilities with better living conditions.
In this year’s humanitarian campaign, the partners of the President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović will be young artists and children from different parts of the Republic of Srpska, who will contribute to provide help for their friends with their artistic performance or other engagement.
