President of the Republic of Srpska meets with Head of the EU Delegation to BiH

The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović met in her office today with the Head of the EU Delegation to BiH Ambassador Johann Sattler and discussed the current political and economic situation in Srpska and BiH, as well as the identified priorities that need to be fulfilled in order for BiH to make progress on the European path.

At the meeting, it was stated that it was necessary to improve communication between different levels of government in BiH, in order to ensure harmonised action of all competent institutions, both in terms of the European integration and in the context of strengthening the rule of law, and improving the socio-economic situation and standard of living of all citizens.

On this occasion, the President Cvijanović emphasized that Srpska was committed to the European path, in accordance with the rules of the harmonised mechanism of coordination of the European integrations in BiH, which implies full respect for the constitutional position and competencies of the institutions of the Republic of Srpska.
