President of the Republic of Srpska meets with Ambassador of Poland to BiH

The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović met today in her office with the Ambassador of Poland to BiH Jaroslaw Lindenberg.

The President of the Republic and the Ambassador of Poland exchanged views on current political and economic issues in the Republic of Srpska, that is, BiH and the region.

On this occasion, the President Cvijanović stressed that the institutions of the Republic of Srpska are fully committed to the European integration and that the European path as well as the regional and international co-operation are of the highest priority.

In an interview with the Ambassador Lindenberg, the President Cvijanović recalled a recent visit to Poland, where she participated in the Economic Forum, and said that the Republic of Srpska wants to follow the example of Poland, which has become one of the most successful economy of the European Union.

The interlocutors assessed that relations between the Republic of Srpska and Poland were very good and that numerous examples of concrete cooperation were evident, but that there was still plenty of room for improvement.
