President of the Republic of Srpska meets with Ambassador of Austria to BiH

The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović met today in her office with the Ambassador of Austria to BiH Ulrike Hartmann.

The interlocutors exchanged views on political and economic situation as well as the current processes in the Republic of Srpska, BiH and the region, and on the activities carried out by the institutions of the Republic of Srpska and BiH in the process of European integration.

The President Cvijanović emphasized that the Republic of Srpska is committed to the European integration and regional and international cooperation, and that socio-economic reforms are a priority of the Republic of Srpska institutions with a view to improving the living standards of the citizens.

It was jointly assessed that good cooperation between the Republic of Srpska and the Republic of Austria will be continued in the future, and that there is potential and mutual interest in improving economic cooperation, particularly in the fields of energy, i.e. green energy and ecology.
