The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović met today in her office with the delegation of the Government of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, headed by Deputy Prime Minister Đorđe Milićević.
The up to now cooperation between the Republic of Srpska and AP Vojvodina and concrete steps aimed to further strengthen economic, educational and cultural ties were discussed at the meeting.
It was jointly assessed that the institutional cooperation between the Republic of Srpska and AP Vojvodina is at a very high level, but that there is still a lot of room for its improvement in the forthcoming period.
At the meeting, which was attended by representatives of the Serbian Business Association “Privrednik” from Novi Sad and Consul General of Serbia in Banja Luka Vladimir Nikolić, they discussed the activities of the Charity Association “Entrepreneur of the Republic of Srpska”, which today promotes the first generation of scholarship recipients.
The President Cvijanović expressed satisfaction that another foundation has emerged in the Republic of Srpska, which has recognised the importance of investing in education and its intention to inherit the value of work, saving and helping those seeking education.
On this occasion, the President of the Republic expressed her full support for the work of the Charity Association “Entrepreneur of the Republic of Srpska” and their humane mission, and wished the first generation of scholarship recipients a lot of success in their education and acquiring new knowledge.
The Charity Association “Entrepreneur of the Republic of Srpska” was founded in the same manner as the fraternal funds from Novi Sad and Zagreb, with the aim of providing assistance to gifted children during their schooling and employment.
