President of the Republic of Srpska meets in Washington with the Human Rights Chief in the State Department`s Bureau of International Organisation Affairs

The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović met today in Washington with the Human Rights Chief in the State Department`s Bureau of International Organisation AffairsRobin S. Brooks.

At the meeting they discussed the current political and economic situation in the Republic of Srpska and BiH, as well as improving cooperation with US institutions in the field of human rights protection.

On this occasion, the President of Srpska pointed out the importance of intensifying the internal dialogue in BiH, as well as consistent respect for the Dayton Peace Agreement and the constitutional position of the three constituent nations and all citizens of BiH.
