President of the Republic of Srpska lays wreaths on the occasion of the Day of the Republic of Srpska
On the occasion of marking the Day of the Republic of Srpska, the President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović laid wreaths today at the monument to the fallen soldiers of the Army of the Republic of Srpska at the Banja Luka Cemetery “Sveti Pantelija” and at the Square of Fallen Soldiers of NOR.
The President of the Republic of Srpska stated that the 30th anniversary of the Republic of Srpska is a great historical date and that its value is reflected in the fact that it was created in peace, and managed to institutionally build and function as an important political community.
The President of Srpska emphasized that this is a great day and a significant jubilee for the Republic, its citizens and institutions and 30 years of life, existence, defense, development, construction, and we can proudly say that we live in freedom and build on everything that has been done in these three decades.
“This is our first 30 anniversary and I am sure that every time after 30 years, the generations that will function and live in the Republic of Srpska will be proud as we are today”, said the President Cvijanović.
The President of the Republic stated that an important political community is anyone that functions on the basis of the Constitution and laws, and pointed out that Srpska has definitely shown its capacity and its ability to deal with, but also to solve sudden problems.
“We are definitely matured as a society, and we want to do everything for the citizens within the institutions in the future, and to preserve what comes from our past”, said the President Cvijanović.
