President of the Republic of Srpska lays wreaths on the occasion of marking January 9 – the Day of the Republic of Srpska

The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović laid a wreath to the fallen soldiers of the Republic of Srpska Army at the Banja Luka Cemetery “St. Pantelija” on the occasion of marking January 9 – the Day of the Republic of Srpska.

The President of the Republic of Srpska said that it is the duty of the Republic to remember all those who gave their lives for it and pointed out that in the coming period we shall all work on raising awareness about the significance of existence of Srpska and strengthening of its institutions.

“The Republic of Srpska which was born in peace was defended by them in the war and for that reason we enjoy the freedom today”, said the President Cvijanović.

The President of the Republic emphasized that much has been done in the previous period and that the goal is to strengthen the Republic of Srpska and its institutions.

“We intend to strengthen the awareness on the importance of the survival of Srpska and our obligation that we who act within the institutions strengthen the Republic of Srpska together with the people”, said the President of Srpska.

The President of the Republic expects that in the future everyone shall gather around all important events and everything that are interests of the Republic of Srpska.

“Let us not take into account of the political party we belong to, but to understand that, when it comes to the interest of Srpska, we are all within a single party called a strong Republic of Srpska”, said the President Cvijanović.

The President of the Republic expressed her satisfaction since the birthday of the Republic of Srpska this year is marked in peace and in a stable Republic, assured where to take safe steps towards strengthening, developing and maintaining of political stability.

The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović laid a wreath at the NOR War Veterans Square on the occasion of the marking of the January 9 – the Day of the Republic.
