President of the Republic of Srpska lays the foundation stone for the construction of the Elementary School “Petar Petrović Njegoš” gym in Teslić

Today, the President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović laid the foundation stone for the construction of the gym of the Elementary School “Petar Petrović Njegoš” in Teslić, which is financed by the Government of Serbia donor funds amounting to 300,000 Euros.

The President Cvijanović said that she was satisfied since she had nominated this project to the Government of Serbia and announced that the carpentry on the school buildings would be replaced soon.

“It is a pleasure to see that the works have begun and that this great project, extremely important for Teslić, for our parents here, especially for children and educators, will be completed on time”, said the President of the Republic of Srpska.

The President of Srpska thanked the Government of Serbia for similar projects that were implemented in Srpska, with the engagement of the Government of the Republic of Srpska.

“We will continue to build here. It is an old school that has a large number of students, about 700 in the central building and about 200 in the regional ones. Therefore, we must take care of this entire school building”, said the President of the Republic and announced that the plan is to change the entire carpentry next year.

The President Cvijanović said that today she would visit the construction site of the school building for the Gornji Teslić Regional Department, which is part of the elementary school “Ivo Andrić” Đulići, which is already nearing completion, and is financed by the Government of the Republic of Srpska.

“Our program of support to educational institutions and schools is something we continuously do in all our cities, villages and municipalities”, the President of the Republic pointed out and added that she was proud to have attended the elementary school “Petar Petrović Njegoš” in Teslić.
