The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović hosted receptions today in Banja Luka on the occasion of marking January 9 – the Day of the Republic of Srpska.
The President of the Republic of Srpska stated today that it was very important that, after the elections, Srpska quickly constituted the government in order to fulfill all the obligations adequately.
“Our citizens expect everyone to fulfill their obligations and tasks. When we have a constituted Government, then it is a guarantee that we shall not have any kind of delays”, said the President Cvijanović.
The President of the Republic recalled that the process of formation of government at the BiH level lasts much longer than in Srpska, since there is no political will and there are certain blackmailings.
The President of Srpska believes that businessmen and media companies will continue to work in good terms with the institutions of Srpska.
“We know how important it is to carry out obligations, to have communication and to foster a dialogue. I believe that we can move on successfully, and the difficult times behind us have shown that if there is a sense of success, then the results can be achieved”, it was added by the President Cvijanović.
The President of Srpska emphasized that the progress of institutions is the obligation of all of us, but also that those in institutions must listen to the messages coming from the business community and social partners.
“This is the key to success, although I know it is not possible to understand each other at every moment. However, I know that we can unite about some issues that are of the mutual interest in order to reach quality solutions”, said the President Cvijanović.
The President of the Republic thanked the representatives of media companies and businessmen for good cooperation this year and wished a happy following year.
The President of the Republic of Srpska hosted a reception for the representatives of religious communities, attended by the representatives of the Serbian Orthodox Church – His High Eminence Metropolitan Hrizostom of Dabar and Bosnia, as well as their eminences, Bishop of Banja Luka Jefrem, Bishop of Bihać and Petrovac Sergije, Bishop of Zahumlje and Herzegovina Dimitrije and Bishop of Zvornik and Tuzla Fotije.
The reception was also attended by the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska Nedeljko Čubrilović, Mayor of Banja Luka Igor Radojičić and the Director of the Secretariat for Religions Dragan Davidović.
