President of the Republic of Srpska extends congratulations to the Women’s Chamber Choir “Banjalučanke”

The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović extended congratulations to the Women’s Chamber Choir “Banjalučanke” for winning a silver medal at the International Choir Competition in the Italian City of Perugia.

“I congratulate you on winning the silver medal in the category of traditional music at the International Choir Competition in Italy, where you participated as the only representative of the Republic of Srpska and BiH.

By winning the medal at this significant international competition, you have continued with a series of remarkable successes, serving as the pride and joy of all of us in the Republic of Srpska.

Exceptional results that you have achieved in the past years, under the direction of composer and conductor Mladen Matović, are a confirmation of your outstanding artistic achievements, efforts and commitment.

I am convinced that you will continue to glorify successes in the future as well, safeguarding and nourishing the richness of our cultural heritage”, said the President Cvijanović in a congratulatory note.
