The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović extended congratulations to the Commander of the Third Infantry (Republic of Srpska) Regiment of the Armed Forces of BiH Brigadier Milan Radojčić, officers, non-commissioned officers, soldiers of the Third Infantry (Republic of Srpska) Regiment of the Armed Forces of BiH, and all former members of the Army of the Republic of Srpska on the occasion of Patron Saint of the Army of the Republic of Srpska.
“On behalf of the citizens of the Republic of Srpska and on my own behalf, I extend sincere congratulations to you on the occasion of Vidovdan – the Patron Saint of the Army of the Republic of Srpska and the Third Infantry (Republic of Srpska) Regiment of the Armed Forces of BiH.
In the tradition of the Serbian Orthodox people, the Patron Saint was created from sublime and noble feelings committed to peace, freedom and unity, such as the struggle and heroic path of the fighters of the Republic of Srpska in the previous homeland war.
Celebrating the Patron Saint of the Republic of Srpska Army is an opportunity to remember, with immense gratitude and special reverence, all members of the army who weaved their lives and body parts into the foundations of the Republic of Srpska, protecting their people and the freedom we enjoy today.
“Hoping that the generations to come will continue to nurture the tradition of freedom, peace and tolerance, and with the conviction that the institutions of the Republic of Srpska will continue to engage in improving the position of veterans in our society, I cordially salute you”, said the President Cvijanović.
