President of the Republic of Srpska extends congratulations on the occasion of the Patron Saint of the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Srpska – the Holy Archangel Michael

On the occasion of the Patron Saint of the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Srpska – the Holy Archangel Michael, the President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović extended congratulations to the Minister of the Interior Dragan Lukač, Police Director Siniša Kostrešević and all members of the Ministry of the Interior.

“On behalf of the citizens of the Republic of Srpska and on my own behalf, I extend my sincere congratulations to you and all members of the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Srpska on the occasion of the Patron Saint – the Holy Archangel Michael.

It is extremely important for the Republic of Srpska to have a professional, responsible and modern police structure that can meet the needs of the citizens and the community, as well as the numerous complex everyday challenges.

As an inseparable and integral part of the identity of the Republic of Srpska, members of the police represent a strong segment of security, stability and the rule of law, to the pride and honor of the citizens of the Republic of Srpska.

The celebration of the Patron Saint is an opportunity to remember, with special reverence, all the members of the police who died in the Defense and Patriotic War, who built their lives into the foundations of the Republic of Srpska.
