Congratulations on the occasion of the Patron Saint of the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Srpska – St. Michael the Archangel

On the occasion of the Patron Saint of the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Srpska, St. Archangel Michael, the President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik extended congratulations to the Minister of the Interior Dragan Lukač, the Police Director Siniša Kostrešević and all members of the Ministry of the Interior.

“On behalf of the citizens of the Republic of Srpska and on my own behalf, I extend sincere congratulations to you and all members of the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Srpska, on the occasion of the Patron Saint of St. Michael the Archangel.”

By continuously developing and improving its capacities, and working in accordance with the Constitution and laws, the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Srpska has reached high professional standards and gained the respect and trust of citizens, as well as other police agencies from the region.

The Republic of Srpska is proud since today it has a strong, stable, modern, professional and highly organised police structure, which is the foundation of the further development and construction of the Republic and the protection of the rights, safety and property of all its citizens.

Marking of the Patron Saint is an opportunity to remember with special respect all members of the Ministry of the Interior who died in the Defense and Patriotic War. We owe them eternal gratitude, because they gave their lives for the Republic of Srpska and its generations and thus wrote a bright page of our history with their names.

Convinced that in the future you will continue to treat this honorable, but responsible and difficult profession skillfully and patriotically, I wish you a happy Patron Saint, as well as a lot of health and success in your private and professional life”, reads the congratulation letter of the President of the Republic of Srpska.
