President of the Republic of Srpska extends congratulations on the occasion of the new school year 2021/2022

The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović, on the occasion of the new school year 2021/2022, extended congratulations to the students and their parents, teachers, as well as employees in education.

“I extend congratulations to all primary and secondary school students on the beginning of the new school year.

I extend special congratulations to the youngest schoolchildren, first-graders, who are sitting in school desks for the first time, hoping that school for them becomes a place of joy, socializing and an oasis of knowledge and skills.

The beginning of the teaching process this year is a big event, considering that after the new way of working and learning imposed by the coronavirus epidemic, students are returning to their schools and regular classes.

I am convinced that, with respect to the measures and recommendations of the profession, teaching in the classrooms will proceed smoothly, and that the new school year will begin with renewed energy and optimism, and end with success and good results.

Education is the foundation of every advanced society and one of its most important segments, and in that sense I welcome any initiative that aims to improve the educational process, adapted to the needs and interests of students, but also the needs of the labor market.

Dear students, I wish you a happy beginning of the new school year, hope that you will be successful in acquiring new knowledge and reasoning”, reads the congratulations note by the President Cvijanović.
