President of the Republic of Srpska extends congratulations on the occasion of Savindan

The President of the Republic Srpska Željka Cvijanović congratulated pupils, students, educators and all employees in the field of education on the occasion of marking the school Patron Saint – St. Sava.

“I extend my sincere congratulations to the pupils, students, educators and all employees in the field of education on the occasion of Savindan, wishing you to celebrate this great holiday in the spirit of St. Sava.

By cherishing the memory of the first Serbian archbishop, the great enlightener and the pioneer of Serbian education and schooling, we want to preserve and cherish the idea of St. Sava, as well as the rich tradition St. Sava left behind.

May the works and values imparted in education by the Serbian enlightener be an incentive for all of us, and particularly for young people, by contributing to the personal knowledge, education, culture and spirituality, thus the progress of our society as a whole”, reads the congratulation note by the President of the Republic.
