President of the Republic of Srpska extends congratulations on the occasion of July 27, the Day of Uprising against Fascism

The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović extended congratulations on the occasion of July 27, the Day of Uprising against Fascism, to the participants in the National Liberation Struggle, their descendants and the citizens of the Republic of Srpska.

“On the occasion of July 27, the Day of Uprising against Fascism, I extend my sincere congratulations to all participants in the National Liberation Struggle, their descendants and the citizens of the Republic of Srpska.

It is the permanent obligation of all of us today and the generations to come to remember and express deep respect and gratitude to all those who gave their lives to create a better and more just world, and to congratulate all surviving veterans of the National Liberation War and their descendants on this important date in our glorious history.

We are proud since together with other libertarian peoples of Europe we gave our contribution to the anti-fascist struggle and defense of ideals and values that were woven into the then new Europe, and which are today inherited by the Republic of Srpska and its institutions”, reads the congratulatory note by the President Cvijanović.
