President of the Republic of Srpska extends congratulations on May 8, World Red Cross Day and Red Cross Week

On the occasion of May 8, the World Red Cross Day and Red Cross Week, the President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović extended congratulations to all employees, volunteers and members of the Red Cross of the Republic of Srpska.

The humane and noble mission of your organisation and the activities you carry out with the messages of unity, solidarity and good will make a great contribution to the social justice society, as one of the foundations which the Republic of Srpska rests on.

The incredible effort that the entire structure of the Red Cross of the Republic of Srpska invests in numerous humanitarian and important activities to our population in regular and unpredicted circumstances has confirmed the outstanding importance of the existence and work of your organisation.

I take this opportunity to express special gratitude and support to you for the devoted work and selfless humanity you show during the fight against the pandemic caused by the Coronavirus.

By making all your capacities available to the institutions of the Republic of Srpska, through daily activities and the implementation of numerous activities that we as a society have not faced so far, you have significantly contributed to the protection of life and health of the people of the Republic of Srpska.
