President of the Republic of Srpska extends a telegram of condolences to the family of deceased academician and painter Vladimir Veličković and SANU

The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović extended a telegram of condolences to the family of deceased academician and painter Vladimir Veličković and the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts.

“With sincere sympathy and deep respect, I extend my condolences to the Veličković family, the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts and all admirers of Vladimir Veličković’s character and work.

The departure of academician Vladimir Veličković, one of the most prominent Serbian painters of all time, who has written the history of Serbian as well as the European and world painting, represnts an irresistible loss, not only to his family, but to the entire Serbian culture and art”, reads the telegram of condolences by the President Cvijanović.
