President of the Republic of Srpska extends a telegram of condolences over the death of Borislav Bora Stanković

The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović extended a telegram of condolences to the family of Borislav Bora Stanković.

“With great sadness and regret, I have received the news over the death of one of the greatest legends of Yugoslav, European and world basketball, Borislav Bora Stanković.

Bora Stanković has left an indelible mark on basketball and will remain remembered as a great man, player, coach, expert, who has made immeasurable contributions to the world’s top sports institutions.

On behalf of the citizens of the Republic of Srpska and on my own behalf, I extend deepest condolences to you”, states the telegram by the President of the Republic of Srpska.
