President of the Republic of Srpska convenes a meeting discussing the request of the Government of the Republic of Srpska to schedule a special session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska to declare a state of emergency at the territory of the Republic of Srpska

The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvianović convened a meeting discussing the request of the Government of the Republic of Srpska to schedule a special session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska to declare a state of emergency at the territory of the Republic of Srpska.

After the meeting, a request from the Government of the Republic of Srpska will be sent to the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska for scheduling of a special session of the republican parliament to declare a state of emergency at the territory of the Republic of Srpska, based on Article 70 of the Constitution of the Republic of Srpska and Article 38 of the Law on the Government of the Republic of Srpska.

The meeting convened by the President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović was attended by the National Assembly Speaker Nedeljko Čubrilović, the Republic of Srpska Prime Minister Radovan Višković, the Republic of Srpska Constitutional Court President Džerard Selman, the Constitutional Court Vice-President Academician Snežana Savić, Representative of the Republic of Srpska Academy of Sciences and Arts, the Republic of Srpska Minister of Justice Anton Kasipović and the Republic of Srpska Government Secretary General Siniša Karan.
