President of the Republic of Srpska attends the solemn reception on the occasion of marking Sretenje – the Statehood Day of Serbia

The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović attended a solemn reception in Banja Luka on the occasion of marking Sretenje – the Statehood Day of Serbia.

The President of the Republic of Srpska expressed her satisfaction at attending the celebration of the Statehood Day of Serbia.

“This has already become a common gathering in Banja Luka, which shows the strength of our relationships, mutual respect and commitment to work together and cooperate. We recall everything that is important in our history and how the foundations of the state were created, we recall constitutionality and the way we should mark something supposed to bring freedom”, said the President Cvijanović.

The President of the Republic pointed out that Serbia for the Republic of Srpska is much more than just a neighbor.

“We have close ties at every level, political understanding and economic ties, we are implementing various projects in the field of infrastructure, social sphere and education. In addition to the legal links that are embedded in the Dayton Agreement, there is an upgrade that represents the closeness of the people from the two banks of the River Drina. We are committed to strengthening the relations in the future and it is important that our various levels of government have good cooperation”, said the President Cvijanović.
