President of the Republic of Srpska attends the reception on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the People’s Republic of China
The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović attended the reception on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the People’s Republic of China. The President of the Republic of Srpska said that it was extremely important for Srpska to cooperate with China, which was reflected in concrete projects.
“Thermal Power Plant Stanari is something representing China’s entrance into the Srpska region, which everyone says was a project that regenerated the region and made it employ nearly 1,000 workers together with the Mine, which gives a whole new dimension to the entire region”, said the President Cvijanović.
Also, according to the President of the Republic, there is a hospital under construction that is important for Doboj, as well as roads agreements, support for the construction of the highway and the reconstruction of the railway in the Republic of Srpska.
The President Cvijanović stressed China’s participation in a project that meant modernisation of the rail system of Srpska.
“We are pleased that these projects open space for future cooperation between the Republic of Srpska and China”, said the President of the Republic of Srpska adding that it was very important for Srpska to establish cooperation with such a large and powerful country.
