President of the Republic of Srpska attends the procession and consecration of the Slavic cake on the occasion of the celebration of the Transfiguration – Patron Saint of the Municipality of Prnjavor

The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović attended today the procession and consecration of the Slavic cake on the occasion of the celebration of the Transfiguration – the Patron Saint of the Municipality of Prnjavor.

The President of the Republic of Srpska stated that the Municipality of Prnjavor represents an example of good cooperation with local authorities, which is a prerequisite for targeted, important, good and great assistance from the republic’s institutions.

“For the next period, we have planned the implementation of projects in the rural area, but also in the urban part, related to renovation, reconstruction, better road infrastructure and everything necessary for better living conditions for our citizens”, said the President Cvijanović.

The President of the Republic mentioned that the construction of the highway was a great advantage for this municipality, which is why today in the vicinity and when entering Prnjavor you can see large halls, plants, employment of the local population.

The President Cvijanović expressed her satisfaction since, on the occasion of the great holiday of the Transfiguration and Patron Saint of the municipality, tonight she is participating in the procession with the citizens of Prnjavor.

“I shared good and bad times with them even in that difficult war period, I spent a part of my life here, but Prnjavor then and Prnjavor now cannot be compared. I am also sure that in 10 years we will see an even better, more developed, more beautiful Prnjavor”, said the President of Srpska.

The President of the Republic of Srpska wished all the residents and their families all the best, and the city to take big steps forward.
