President of the Republic of Srpska attends the parade of the Army of Serbia and the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Serbia “Defense of Freedom”

On the occasion of the Victory Day over Fascism, the President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović attended today in Niš the parade of the Army of Serbia and the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Serbia “Defense of Freedom”.

The President of the Republic of Srpska stated that a magnificent military-police parade “Defense of Freedom” was held, on the occasion of the Victory Day over Fascism, as one of the most important dates in the history of mankind.

“This was a good opportunity for Serbia to show a lot. It is visible that Serbia has consolidated its ranks, it works on reinforcement and manages to strengthen institutions showing that it is a stable state of central importance in the Western Balkans”, said the President Cvijanović.

The President of the Republic emphasized that she was very proud since the President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić congratulated the Day of Victory over Fascism to the citizens of Serbia and the Republic of Srpska the day before.

“I am honored to have the opportunity to attend this event. I think it is natural and logical that today this event is attended by the Serb member of the BiH Presidency Milorad Dodik and myself as the President of the Republic of Srpska”, said the President Cvijanović.
