President of the Republic of Srpska attends the opening of the newly built bridge „Srbija“ in Čelinac

The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović, Minister of Labor, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs of Serbia Zoran Đorđević and Mayor of Čelinac Momčilo Zeljković opened the newly built bridge in Čelinac City Bridge “Srbija”.

The President of the Republic said that the new bridge “Srbija” was an extremely important building that was necessary for Čelinac, noting that it was a joint success of the Republic of Srpska and Serbia.

The President Cvijanović stressed that she was proud that, while she was the Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska, together with the Government of Serbia and local authorities, she had made the decision to build “this wonderful bridge which serves to its purpose”, to save people from the floods which commonly occur at this place.

“We remember that sad and difficult 2014, we remember how it all looked. Hoping that it will never happen again, we have decided, together with Serbia, to allocate the funds and to have such a wonderful bridge today”, said the President of Srpska.

The President of the Republic emphasized that “the bridges connect but also save people in a way”.

“I wish for Čelinac, as well as all our other municipalities, to receive not only new bridges, schools, kindergartens, but all that is necessary for the better life of our citizens. Wherever we have achieved good cooperation between the local and republic authorities, and particularly where we have succeeded to implement projects together with Serbia, and I need to say that we were always moving forward together”, said the President Cvijanović, adding that Čelinac is also one of such municipalities.

“Numerous projects have remained behind us through our joint engagement, our care to provide and do what is needed for our people and our citizens, and finally for our Republic to look better and more beautiful, to be more modern, to be stronger every day and of course, it is always important that Serbia is with us on the path of strengthening ourselves and our capacities, improving our infrastructure, improving all segments of society”, it was stated by the President of the Republic of Srpska.

The President Cvijanović thanked the Minister of Labor, Employment, Veterans and Social Affairs of Serbia Zoran Đorđević, who, as the President said, has extended warm, kind, brotherly messages.

“I would particularly like to thank the President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić, the entire Government of Serbia, with the Prime Minister Ana Brnabić, who for many years have succeeded in achieving results wherever necessary together with us. This bridge is our common success. There are a lot of projects all over Srpska where we had the support of Serbia”, it was highlighted by the President of Srpska.

According to the President Cvijanović, Serbia has left its mark in almost every municipality in the Republic of Srpska, and there are many other projects planned to be implemented next year already.

” The President Cvijanović also welcomed the clergy, who are doing everything they can to improve the Republic of Srpska, the people and bring everyone together.

“I wish a lot of success to Čelinac, many joyful days to this municipality and its citizens. I wish all of us a strong and stable Republic of Srpska that will always be a safe home to our secure future. Long live Čelinac, long live the Republic of Srpska and long live Serbia”, it was emphasized by the President of the Republic of Srpska.
