President of the Republic of Srpska attends the opening of the International Festival “Accordion Days”

The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović attended today the opening of the International Festival “Accordion Days” in Ugljevik.

The President of the Republic expressed satisfaction that today at the International Festival “Accordion Days”, which has already been widely celebrated and which, thanks to the dedicated work of the people in the organisation, will enable Srpska to host the Accordion World Cup next year.

The President Cvijanović pointed out that this cultural event is extremely important for Ugljevik, Bijeljina and the entire region, as well as the Republic of Srpska.

“The role of institutions, both local and national, is to work together and support art and artistic efforts. I am happy when someone who is a great talent emerges from our region. We are all rewarded by the fact that such people were born here, who spread the fame of Ugljevik and the Republic of Srpska at international competitions”, said the President of Srpska.

The President of the Republic welcomed the delegation of the World Accordion Association, without which, as she says, neither this nor previous events would have had such significance.

“It shows the international character of one event, which may have started as a local one, but it was designed to have a regional dimension, and it got much bigger dimensions than the original intention”, said the President Cvijanović.

The President of the Republic of Srpska pointed out that she was proud since this festival was recognizable and thanked everyone for their efforts and expressed satisfaction that she was the patron of this event for the second time.

“The best results are achieved when you love what you do. I recognise the will and love as a guide in an endeavor such as making someone to become significant, and at the same time having a talent”, said the President of Srpska.
