The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović and the Ambassador of Italy to BiH Nicola Minasi open an exhibition “Italy. (In)Visible stories” tonight in Banja Luka at the Museum of Contemporary Art of the Republic of Srpska.
The President Cvijanović said that in this way Banja Luka has been promoted as a good host.
“Every time we have bilateral or international events in Banja Luka, I try to be there because I know that it is important for us to establish good relations, to understand each other better through the culture, art, everything that is tradition, to know much more about each other”, said the President of the Republic of Srpska.
According to the President of Srpska, there is usually a greater political and economic understanding coming afterwards.
“I see that this is a bridge of cooperation. We have a good cooperation with Italy. I am happy that they decided to launch this year’s Days of Culture from Banja Luka and thus to show that they are realistic when it comes to BiH, but also that they recognised Banja Luka as a place of cultural events”, it was emphasized by the President of the Republic of Srpska.
The President of the Republic stated that the Italians have praised the team of the Museum of Contemporary Art of the Republic of Srpska and characterised them as good hosts.
“I am proud every time we can welcome someone in Banja Luka, and particularly when we can open the door to the art and culture, then it is a special dimension”, said the President Cvijanović and thanked the Italian Ambassador for coming together with his team to open the exhibition.
