President of the Republic of Srpska attends the marking of centennial since the accession of Vojvodina to the Kingdom of Serbia

The Republic of Srpska President Željka Cvijanović and the BiH Presidency Chairman Milorad Dodik attended the unveiling of the monument to King Petar Karađorđević in Novi Sad today within the marking of centennial since the accession of Vojvodina to the Kingdom of Serbia.

The monument was unveiled by the President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić and the Mayor of Novi Sad Miloš Vučević.

The President of the Republic of Srpska congratulated today to the citizens of Serbia 100 years since the accession of Vojvodina to the Kingdom of Serbia and called for the unity of the Serb people and a joint performance in political and economic terms.

The President Cvijanović said that great freedoms were achieved with great victories in the First World War.

The President of the Republic pointed out that the accession of Vojvodina to the Kingdom of Serbia in 1918 marked the beginning of a modern state, statehood, sovereignty, assembly and unification.

“As the President of the Republic of Srpska, on behalf of all citizens, I would like to congratulate all the citizens of Serbia this great day, but also to once again call for unity and harmony, we should stick together, we should mark important dates from the past together, and also perform together in both political and economic terms”, said the President of Srpska.

The President of the Republic of Srpska, Željka Cvijanović, attended the ceremonial academy devoted to the 100th anniversary of the accession of Vojvodina to the Kingdom of Serbia.
