President of the Republic of Srpska attends the ceremonial session on the occasion of the Day and Patron Saint of the Municipality of Rogatica

The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović attended today the ceremonial session on the occasion of the Day and Patron Saint of the Municipality of Rogatica.

The President of the Republic of Srpska expressed her satisfaction since she visited Rogatica today, where she was presented with the highest recognition of this local community at the ceremonial session of the Municipal Assembly.

The President of the Republic stated that she was honored and proud to be awarded the Charter of the Municipality of Rogatica, for joint efforts and investments in this municipality, and announced that the development of Rogatica will continue in the coming period.

“I am happy that my participation during the previous period contributed to the fact that today we have much better conditions for our little ones to stay in the kindergarten, but also that we have school facilities and elementary and high school in a different edition compared to the ones we had before. We jointly planned, worked and implemented projects related to the communal and road infrastructure”, said the President Cvijanović.

The President of the Republic pointed out that wherever possible, the Government of Srpska had good cooperation with the local authorities.

The President of Srpska expressed her gratitude to the Mayor and his team, who always knew how to delegate certain needs of their citizens.

The President Cvijanović pointed out that it is not possible to sit in the Government or some other institution and to know all the needs of every local community, which is why it is necessary to have responsible people who will know how to recognise them, but also find ways to ensure the implementation of those projects together with us.

“I am proud to have participated together in those projects and we discussed that in the coming period we will continue with the development of Rogatica”, said the President of the Republic, emphasizing that there are more plans for this region, that there are still needs and that they will be solved together for the benefit of citizens.

The President of Srpska expressed her satisfaction that the Silver Plaque was presented to the Health Centre in Rogatica today, because the entire Republic owes a lot to the health workers who showed responsibility during the pandemic crisis.

The President Cvijanović pointed out that she is proud of what everyone together as the Republic of Srpska managed to provide and do in every local community, which was not only a struggle on the economic and financial level.

During her visit to the Municipality of Rogatica, the President of the Republic visited the memorial room and laid wreaths for the fallen soldiers of the Army of the Republic of Srpska.
