President of the Republic of Srpska attends the ceremonial academy on the occasion of 47 years of work and existence of the Faculty of Economics in Banja Luka

The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović attended today the academy on the occasion of 47 years of work and existence of the Faculty of Economics at the University of Banja Luka.

The President of the Republic of Srpska praised the Faculty of Economics for fulfilling its mission and successfully educating many generations, so its students are recognised in society.

The President of Srpska stated that the Faculty of Economics is an important element of the higher education system and congratulated the management, teaching staff and students on this jubilee.

The President of the Republic stated that it is commendable that they did not give up on the main goals, which is the mission of this faculty, emphasizing that this institution enjoys a great reputation.

The President Cvijanović said that she was happy that the Government was continuously supporting educational institutions, as well as institutions in the field of higher education, reminding that there were various interventions to continue or create better working conditions.

The President of the Republic of Srpska announced that this will be continued in the next period after the energy efficiency project, and she added that this year it is planned to invest certain funds in equipping the space that will be at the service of teachers and students.

“I am happy that people are working here with enthusiasm. We came to support the management of the faculty, the teaching staff and students and to say that together – the Government, institutions and our higher education institutions through close cooperation will record better results and will have better working conditions”, said the President of the Republic.
