President of the Republic of Srpska attends the academy on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Confederation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Srpska
The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović attended today in Banja Luka the ceremonial academy on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Confederation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Srpska.
The President of the Republic of Srpska stated that the Confederation of Trade Unions solved the problems of workers with the institutions of Srpska and that this confederation shared the fate of the Republic of Srpska for 30 years since its existence.
“I congratulate the Confederation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Srpska on this great and significant anniversary. I am grateful to the President of the Trade Union Ranka Mišić and to all the people who contributed to achieving a better social dialogue with the institutions of the Republic of Srpska and social partners”, said the President of the Republic.
The President of Srpska pointed out that there were many challenging and difficult moments and that the Confederation of Trade Unions shared the fate of the Republic of Srpska.
“We were always on the right side and solved problems together. In the past, we did not understand each other enough, but later we tried to improve the understanding for the benefit of the workers, but also to improve the status of the workers, and to make sure that we have as many jobs as possible”, it was added by the President Cvijanović.
The President of the Republic of Srpska thanked the Trade Union for everything that was done and stated that the workers feel protected if they act within the Trade Union.
“There were really good proposals of the Trade Union accepted by the Government of Srpska, but also moments when the situation was not alike. The Government managed to do as much as was possible at the given moment and it is certain that it has credible social partners with whom it will continue the dialogue for the benefit of the categories it protects”, said the President of Srpska.
