The President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik attended today in Zalužani marking of the Patron Saint of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Srpska – Saint Michael the Archangel.
The President of the Republic of Srpska said that the institutions of Srpska will support the Ministry of the Interior and the Police, whose members must do everything to preserve public order and peace.
“May you celebrate the Patron Saint in peace and progress. You must preserve public order and peace for the benefit of our citizens,” said the President of the Republic.
The President of Srpska stated that today we marked several important events for the Serb people, recalling the entry of the Serbian army and the liberation of Banja Luka in the First World War.
“On this day, the Dayton Peace Agreement was signed, which we accepted and decided to be in the state community called Bosnia and Herzegovina,” said the President Dodik.
The President of the Republic reiterated that since the signing of this Agreement, it has been defiled by the impositions of high representatives, which is unacceptable.
“It is very important that the Republic of Srpska respects the Dayton Peace Agreement, and the existence of its letter is the only acceptable thing. That is the only way Bosnia and Herzegovina can function”, it was emphasized by the President of Srpska.
“The Republic of Srpska is celebrating peace today. Serbia is stable, and this is reflected in the fact that it functions politically and institutionally within the framework of the Constitution”, it was added by the President Dodik.
The President of the Republic reiterated that it was necessary to reestablish the competences of the Republic of Srpska.
“Republic of Srpska will show its character in the years to come, with the aim of preserving its constitutional and legal position. It is very important that the Police of Srpska has regained its dignity and that it has been preserved despite numerous attempts to abolish it”, said the President Dodik.
The President of Srpska pointed out that everyone who graduates from the Police Academy gets a job.
“I wish you to remain patriots loyal to our citizens, freedom and peace”, said the President of the Republic.
