The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović attended today a ceremony of marking the National Day of Bulgaria at the Elementary School “Georgi Stojkov Rakovski”.
The President of the Republic of Srpska stated that Srpska and Bulgaria have good cooperation and understanding, which is reflected in the traditional marking of the National Day of Bulgaria at the Elementary School “Georgi Stojkov Rakovski”.
“It is my pleasure to be here today for the traditional marking of this holiday. This is an evidence to Banja Luka’s openness to all who want to cooperate, and there are many of those”, said the President Cvijanović.
She stressed that a good political understanding of Srpska and Bulgaria is a prerequisite for economic cooperation.
“Obviously, there is room for improvement of all forms of cooperation. Strengthening of cultural ties and a good understanding are a clear and good message for those who deal with the economy”, said the President of the Republic.
According to the President of Srpska, Banja Luka and the Republic of Srpska want to show affection for the solidarity of the Bulgarian people and the Government.
“I am particularly pleased since the Ambassador of Bulgaria is here with us. It is our obligation to remember what good people have done, and certainly what Bulgaria has done, at a time when we needed help, is something that it has been living in Banja Luka for generations and is being transferred at this school”, said the President Cvijanović and wished that children in Srpska and Bulgaria live in peace.
The President of the Republic of Srpska noted that in the future as well we should show appreciation to Bulgaria for its support.
