The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović attended marking of the school Patron Saint St. Sava today at High School Centre “Jovan Dučić” in Teslić.
The President of the Republic of Srpska said that the institutions of the Republic of Srpska, with the support of the Government of Serbia, have invested in the reconstruction of schools in Teslić in order to improve the education system, and that they had also participated in the implementation of other projects important for the development of this local community.
“I am pleased since in my previous positions, and now as the President of the Republic, together with other institutions, we were able to implement all the joint projects we have had here”, said the President Cvijanović.
According to the President of the Republic of Srpska, the funds of the President of Srpska were invested in the construction of a gym and a school yard a few years ago apart from the reconstruction of the amphitheatre of this school.
The President of the Republic stated that the rehabilitation and reconstruction of primary school buildings in Teslić area have been realised, from smaller investments worth several thousand BAM each, to large projects such as the reconstruction of a city school for which the Government of Serbia allocated 600,000 BAM.
“Many things are happening in parallel and it shows that we are financially stable as the institutions of the Republic of Srpska, that we are able to implement such projects and somehow pave the way for future projects”, said the President Cvijanović.
The President of the Republic of Srpska recalled support to date for the rehabilitation of the local health centre, the purchase of an ambulance van, the improvement of local infrastructure, as well as other projects aimed at the development of Teslić.
