President of the Republic of Srpska attends central manifestation on the ocassion of Vidovdan – Patron Saint of the Republic of Srpska Army and Third Infantry (Republic of Srpska) Regiment

The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović attended today in Monastery Osovica the central manifestation on the ocassion of Vidovdan – Patron Saint of the Republic of Srpska Army and Third Infantry (Republic of Srpska) Regiment.

The President of the Republic of Srpska stressed that members of the Republic of Srpska Army who gave their lives for the freedom of the Serb people and for the defense of the Republic of Srpska should never be forgotten.

“The Serb people must not forget our soldiers who created the Republic of Srpska and defended centuries-old hearths”, said the President Cvijanović.

The President of the Republic of Srpska pointed out that the institutions of Srpska are committed to developing and strengthening the Republic.

“As we remember everyone who created and defended the Republic of Srpska, we must know that our most important battles will be the ones in the field of education, employment and development of Srpska”, said the President Cvijanović adding that Vidovdan is a symbol of the centuries-long struggle for freedom of the Serb people and one of the most significant dates in our history.
