President of the Republic of Srpska attends 9th Forum of Dr Milan Jelić Fund Scholars

The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović attended the 9th Forum of Dr Milan Jelić Fund Scholars.

The President of the Republic of Srpska pointed out that about 11 million BAM have been allocated for the scholarship holders of the Dr Milan Jelić Fund since 2007, which indicates that the institutions of Srpska are taking care of the students who are achieving results.

“It is certainly possible that it can be more and better, but it is important that, apart from the regular ones, we have also provided scholarships for the students who achieve good results at prestigious universities abroad”, said the President Cvijanović.

The President of Srpska stressed the need to further strengthen the link between scholarship holders and institutions of the Republic of Srpska.

“It is our duty to help to apply the knowledge gained and young people to get to work in order to contribute to the development of our society. This is a good programme and we will work to strengthen it if the financial situation becomes better”, said the President of the Republic of Srpska.
