President of the Republic of Srpska attended the ceremonial academy on the occasion of 50 years of existence of the Public institution Primary School “Sveti Sava”

The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović today attended the official academy on occasion of the 50th anniversary of the existence of the Public Institution Primary School “Sveti Sava” Banja Luka.

The President of the Republic of Srpska underlined the importance of marking the 50th anniversary of existence and work of the “Sveti Sava” Primary School in Banja Luka, and stated that the Republic of Srpska Government has invested two million KM in this school through various interventions.

President Cvijanović noted that in this respect this institution is no exception, and that it is the case with all other schools throughout Srpska.

“For this reason, resources invested in schools exceed 130 million KM, and we intervened wherever it was needed”, said President Cvijanović.

The President of the Republic expressed satisfaction with attending the marking of this important jubilee in the work of one of Srpska’s educational institutions, and stressed that this deserves the public’s attention.

The President of the Republic of Srpska added that it is important that the school perform its function, but also that teachers work together with parents in the interest of children and the acquisition of knew knowledge.

“As it is the case with all other educational institutions, this school, too, as part of the education system, is going through some transformation. We shall by all means, in the future too, engage in the education reform process, which is a part of life and progress of society,” said President Cvijanović.
