“On behalf of the citizens of the Republic of Srpska and on my own behalf, I extend my sincere congratulations on the occasion of Vidovdan – the Patron Saint of the Army of the Republic of Srpska and the Third Infantry Regiment (Republika Srpska).
Vidovdan is a date that in our history is synonymous with the great suffering of the Serb people, but also the victories won by all brave members of the Army of the Republic of Srpska, who gave their lives for the freedom we enjoy today. That is why we owe them eternal gratitude and the memory of their sacrifice, which permanently obliges us to preserve and defend our Republic and leave it as a legacy to the future generations.
The army of the Republic of Srpska proudly protected the Republic of Srpska, its territory and the Serb people with its courage and daring in the past Defensive and Patriotic War.
Continuing to inherit the tradition of the Army of the Republic of Srpska, the Third Infantry (Republika Srpska) Regiment represents the guarantor of the survival of the Republic of Srpska and the Serb people and the preservation of peace and stability.
Deeply convinced that we will continue to cherish the tradition in the future, I wish you a happy Patron Saint, to celebrate it solemnly and with dignity. Also, I wish you much success in your future work and personal and family happiness”, reads the congratulation letter by the President of the Republic of Srpska.
