President of the Republic attends the event “Hilandar as an inspiration”

Tonight, the President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik attended the event “Hilandar as an inspiration” in Banja Luka, during which the solemn poem “Hilandar” by the Serbian composer Vlado S. Milošević was performed.

On this occasion, the President of the Republic stated that tonight’s concert dedicated to Hilandar is a unique event since it speaks of the synergy that exists between Srpska and the monastery.

The President Dodik said that Srpska will find a way to pass a law to permanently support the Hilandar monastery, which is important for spiritual life.

“I spoke with the abbot of the monastery today. We want to make the best possible cooperation. The Republic of Srpska will find a way, like Serbia, to pass a law by which we will permanently support the life of monasteries”, said the President of Srpska.

The President of the Republic pointed out that he was glad since the event gathered a large number of guests and expressed satisfaction because, as he stated, a spectacular evening was organised in Banja Luka.

The Abbot of the Hilandar monastery Archimandrite Metodije attended the concert as well as numerous other guests from the public and cultural life of the Republic of Srpska.
